Barnum’s World of Wonders exhibition! Drawing from all corners of the extraordinary Barnum Museum collections, this exhibit brings visitors into the depth and wonder of P.T. Barnum’s life. The exhibit showcases miniature carriages; a grimly fascinating replica of Barnum’s famous Fejee Mermaid; the fantastic Centaur of Tymfi, and General Tom Thumb’s own miniature furniture. Barnum’s World of Wonders has also brought back to display a portion of William “Bill” Brinley’s famous miniature circus, which was exhibited for many years in the Museum’s historic building. It grew to contain over 3,500 tiny pieces, all hand-crafted, and replicates a 1930’s circus.
