Hello to all our dear friends quarantining at home and dutifully observing the distancing orders. A heartfelt thank you to all who are on the frontlines of essential services, braving the uncertainties each day brings. To everyone, yes, you are making a difference and we will re-emerge a stronger and more compassionate world.
The small but mighty staff of the Barnum Museum are working from home safe-and-sound, and creatively exploring new and innovative paths to engage and inform. It is inspiring to share extraordinary program ideas with our museum colleagues around the world, and the Barnum Museum will be launching a few new virtual programs that we hope will give you a few moments of diversion and joy.
So. I welcome you to join us on this very new and untested journey of distance engagement. We will do the very best we can to continue to serve your interests, needs, and curiosities. We’ll be diving deep into some of the lesser-known stories about Mr. Barnum, his family and some of the more obscure enterprises and endeavors that are overshadowed by the enormity of the blockbuster entertainment industries he’s so well known for. Explore with us! Below, we offer just a simple story to share what P. T. Barnum had to say about creating healthful cities and towns.
Meanwhile, stay home, stay safe, stay healthy. Reach out to us with questions, thoughts, or please let us know why the Barnum Museum is meaningful to you. You inspire us and we are truly grateful! You can always contact us at info@barnum-museum.org
Be well,
Kathy
