Gallery Tours (Year-Round)
The Barnum Museum remains closed as we prepare safety measures for CT Self Certification, and ready the site for the major construction work to begin this summer. We will, of course, continue to follow Governor Lamont’s directives on closures and minimizing person-to-person contacts, to do our part in slowing the virus transmission. As a result, all tours, visitation, and programs are cancelled during this time. We look forward to re-scheduling programs when possible.
On Thursdays & Fridays from 11 am to 3 pm, come and enjoy a fun-filled walk through of the fascinating art and artifacts of the historic Barnum Museum! Be dazzled by wondrous collections including Tom Thumb carriages, the miniature menagerie tent, the FeJee Mermaid and the mythological Centaur. Gallery tours take up to one hour.
Free to the public, donations are welcome
