Greetings, everyone—
I truly hope this past week has been a healthy one for you and your loved ones, and also that you have found your daily “stride inside” during this period when most of us must remain at home. Here in Connecticut it seems that Spring has turned back to Winter weather again, though the longer hours of daylight help keep us sane, as do the spring blossoms.
Along with my team–extended and remote—I have been busy preparing and submitting grant applications that will sustain our beloved Barnum Museum. We are lucky to have such dedicated and smart people to work with. On the subject of good fortune, I hope you will take a minute to enjoy this week’s excerpts from P. T. Barnum’s letters, relating the great success of his tour with “General Tom Thumb” in France.

Executive Director
